2024 Gardening Holidays, Special Days, Events and Observances. By Garden Hobbies. (1)

As a gardener, everyday is a day to celebrate and enjoy our garden hobby. But, there are official "days" that we can really celebrate. They are known as garden holidays, garden special days, or garden events. And, the good news, is there is no shortage of days directly or indirectly honoring our hobby.

We have listed below some of the Garden Hobbies "biggie" holidays, celebrations and special days:

January Holidays

January 6- It's Bean Day, Hooray!

January 10 - Houseplant Appreciation Day

January 19 - Popcorn Day -Few people grow popcorn. But, everybody loves it. This holiday is really popping!

January 21 - Squirrel Appreciation Day. It's best that this day is in January. Gardeners do not appreciate squirrels during the gardening season.

January 29 - National Red Carnation Day

February Holidays

February 3 - Feed the Birds Day
